It all happened so fast! I had my belt in my hand, ready to strike again. If they had any sense, they would have listened to my erratic and unpredictable behavioral rules and guidelines. It was almost impossible for her to navigate this chasm of danger and whimsical fantasy. Irrational superstitions whipped away at her in this shapeshifting array of attachment and dissociation.

They flipped.

Hanging there by a rope, as if by some providential guiding hand, they reached back out to me in their own voice, angry at my insolence and neglect.

She fluttered.
