He kept beating his wife, leaving her with bruises and her growing but quiet rage. But when the local motel owner, Charles, and his wife found out about her circumstances, they encouraged her to consider leaving the crazed lunatic courier. She did, but not before her husband put two and two together. Charles and his wife were the only ones critical of his actions in his marriage and he decided to take shoot them and burn the building. His gunslinging shootout failed but he did burn down the motel and later committed suicide by cop.
